Find out how the new £600K threshold affects you!

Alistair Darling our current Chancellor of the Exchequer recently announced
major changes to the way Inheritance Tax is calculated in the United Kingdom.
This announcement was made during his Pre-Budget report in early October 2007.

There is a common misconception that this announcement has now relieved
pressure on the Inheritance Tax burden, suffered by the vast majority of the
population altogether. Dave Richards managing director of Legacy said “this is not
necessarily the case, particularly around the provision of ‘Discretionary Will Trusts’.
These kind of Trust’s are still highly Tax efficient and very beneficial to each and
every family in the UK”.
