Simple Will
Mr & Mrs J, had a joint estate of £250,000.00, they had 2 children aged 20 & 25.
They wanted to make sure that both of their children inherited 100% of their estate
after the second of them to die.
Recommendation
Simple Mirror Wills, appointing each other as Executors naming each spouse as
Principle Beneficiary, leaving the residuary estate to the 2 named Children at second death,
having appointed both children as reserve executors.
Result
This simple method enables the Testators (person’s making the Will), to
easily avoid the complex Law’s of Intestacy at first death & allows the children deal with the
rigours of probate far more expediently & cost effectively at second death.
